We're currently in the process of finishing up development on DisplayFusion 3.3.1, but there are a few translations that still need to be completed. We're offering up a free DisplayFusion Pro license for anyone who can help complete the translations for the languages listed below, and we'll also list your name in the credits on the DisplayFusion Languages page. If you'd like to help us out, please contact us at support@displayfusion.com and we'll be glad to get you setup as a translator for DisplayFusion!
Thanks everyone!
Please join me in welcoming our newest team member, Keith Lammers! Keith is our first full time support/testing/everything else person, and he's coming on board at a busy time. We have tons of new things planned, including some big surprises, and Keith will be an important part of making these things happen. Keith brings with him years of IT support experience, including hardware support and software testing. He's a top-notch, well-rounded guy and I couldn't be happier to have him join the team. If you see Keith in the forums, make sure you say hi and help me welcome him to the team!
Welcome to the team, Keith!
Firefox 4 is out today! Hurray! Looking for a version of DisplayFusion that works perfectly with Firefox 4? Make sure you download the latest beta (Beta 3) to take advantage of it's improved Firefox 4 compatibility. You can find the new beta version on the DisplayFusion Beta Download page. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the new Firefox!
DisplayFusion 3.3 is here! This new version is jam-packed with new features, and tons of bug fixes. The DisplayFusion Taskbars have been overhauled, and have a bunch of new features. You can now group the taskbar buttons, or align the buttons to the left/right side of the taskbar. Windows 7-style thumbnail previews have been added, and you can now add application shortcuts to each taskbar. All of these taskbar settings can be configured independently for each taskbar, so you can customize your desktop to suit your needs.
Here is a quick rundown on some of the big changes in version 3.3:
I would encourage everyone to update to this new version today to take advantage of these improvements. If you would like to see a complete list of all the changes, please visit the DisplayFusion Change Log. I'd like to send out a big thanks to the dozens of people who helped with the DisplayFusion translations, and the thousands of people that helped test the Beta versions. Thanks everyone!
I am very happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.4 is now available for download! This new version adds an option called "Re-open logs when starting" for toggling whether LogFusion should remember and re-open your previously loaded logs. There are also some huge performance improvements when using the text filtering feature with huge log files. I would encourage all LogFusion users to update today to take advantage of these updates.
DisplayFusion 3.3 is nearly complete, we're just finishing all the testing and translations. As we wrap up the testing, we still need help finishing up a few of the translations. These are the languages we are still waiting on:
If you can help with any of these translations you will receive a free DisplayFusion Pro license and your name in the language credits. Please contact us directly if you are able to help out. Thanks!
Update: The languages are now up-to-date, thanks everyone!
I am very happy to announce that the new DisplayFusion Customer Portal has been launched! The customer portal is a place for you to view your license keys, manage your contact information and much more.
I would encourage you to visit the DisplayFusion Customer Portal today and take a look around, there's something useful for everyone!
I am very happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.3 is now available for download! This new version adds an option called "Only Show Highlighted Items" for filtering out non-highlighted lines. This is very handy for people that setup lots of highlights, and only want to see the lines that are highlighted. There are also some small performance improvements, and reduced memory usage. I would encourage all LogFusion users to update today to take advantage of these updates.
I am happy to announce that LogFusion 1.2.2 is now available for download! This is a small update that significantly improves LogFusion's ability to load extremely large log files. LogFusion 1.2.1 added the ability to load logs with over 1 million lines. This new version improves that ability, allowing log files that are up to 4x larger to be loaded. If you work with large log files, I would encourage you to update to version 1.2.2 today!
I am very pleased to announce the release of LogFusion 1.2.1! This release focuses on one issue: loading large log files. I have removed the "Lines to Load" setting and replaced it with a "Bytes to Load" setting that can be disabled if desired. Previously, you could specify that you wanted to load 500 lines (for example) when opening a log file. Now you specify the number of bytes (in MB) to load. This allows for some behind-the-scenes optimizations that allow LogFusion to quickly open and process huge log files. For example, a 600mb log file with over 1 million lines opens in roughly 10 seconds on my test machine. If you work with large log files I encourage you to download this update today!
