after thoughtlessly overwriting a file with an old instance and losing two weeks of notes, i am no longer using notepad. so this program is exactly what i was looking for. however, after clicking notepad, and editpadpro8 opens, it no longer uses the notepad icon. it switches to it's own icon on the taskbar. i don't want to use notepad. why doesn't editpadpro8 use the notepad icon

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

also, after installing notepadreplacer, i noticed that it affected my mru notepad items and pinned items, in that it only showed 8 pinned items, and no mru items. after uninstalling notepadreplacer, all of my pinned and mru items populated again. i don't understand this behavior, however, i rely on this feature heavily. this is a critical flaw that needs to get looked at. again, i am using notepadreplacer with editpadpro8. thank you, hamid mazuji
