Hello,
I appreciate this great product which is going to help me a lot.
I wonder if it is possible to run Hashtools from the command line, or execute it from within another program (say in Visual Basic) and obtain the hash value.

Sorry, HashTools doesn't support command line execution. You can pass in a filename via the command line, but the interface will still appear and the hash won't be outputted back to the console.
