This worked. I had to restart explorer.exe to get the new menu to show up, but it seems to work just fine without requiring the Microsoft Store version of Notepad be installed. Thank you!

Installing Notepad Replacer makes text files open with my specified app as expected, but the store version of Notepad is no longer listed as an installed app and I can't make new text files. Re-installing Notepad from the store allows me to create new text files from the context menu, but text files begin opening in Notepad again. ]]>
