Just who the heck am I, anyway? Well, my name is Jon Tackabury… welcome to my home. Binary Fortress Software is the indie label I use to distribute my software projects. It is not a “company” in the typical sense, as I don’t try to make as much money as possible, quite the opposite actually. My first priority is making software that I love.
The Gritty Details
I have been developing software for just under 15 years now, with no sign of stopping anytime soon. While proficient in C++, C#, JavaScript, VB, VB.net, MySQL and MS SQL Server 2000 & 2005 I have been known to dabble in other languages as well: VBScript, Classic ASP, Pascal (DOS and Windows), Basic (all forms… GWBasic, QBasic, you name it) and I’m sure I’ve missed others that are completely useless now.
