I've just installed FileSeek on Windows 7. I really like the way it presents the keyword in context. But while the website claims Win7 compatibility issue, it does NOT appear as shell extension in the context menu when you rightclick on a folder. I assume there is a workaround for this at present... I am not afraid to manually edit the registry. Seems like it might be possible to place an entry here:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers
Any step-by-step instructions would be appreciated.
Also as a side note... *why* does FileSeek not include an option (like XP search always had) and like Search Everything, copernic and filepro have... to search only on file/folder names... and to do so using the same instantaneous approach that Search Everything from voidtools does. It is GREAT for its purpose and DOES load as shell enhancement With that enhancement, seems like FileSeek should be the search tool of choice for Windows 7. I hope this feature can be added soon... and when it is I would like to feature it in our customer newsletters
Thanks
