iTunes Sync Updates and Happy News

General, iTunes Sync

iTunes SyncI looks like iTunes Sync has been having some major issues with the new release of iTunes 8. I’m not at home currently, but I’ll be back this weekend and I’ll do my best to fix it ASAP. A big thanks to everyone in the forum who brought this issue to my attention, and thank you for being so patient. v2.0 of iTunes Sync isn’t ready to go yet, so I’ll be doing an interim release that will only address this issue. iTunes Sync v1.6 should be ready to go this weekend, unless Apple has drastically changed the SDK in the new version of iTunes.

And now for the happy news. I started a new job this Monday with a company in Kanata (near Ottawa) in Canada. I have been training this week at the head office in New York city, so I apologize for the lack of forum posting and email responses. This new job is promising to be a fantastic opportunity, and I can’t wait to settle in and start contributing. On another happy front, we also sold our house in London and purchased one in Kanata. The whole Tackabury family is excited to be starting this new chapter in our lives, and hopefully things will get back to “normal” soon. Until we move at the end of October I’ll be living in Ottawa during the week and returning home on weekends so my kids don’t forget what I look like. :P I’m doing my best to keep up with all the forum posts and support emails, but I’m getting quite far behind. I apologize if you don’t get an immediate response, but next week when I’m back in Canada I’ll have much more time to sort everything out. Thanks everyone!
