Hey Bell, GTFO

General

As you may know (if you live in Canada) Bell Canada has decided it would be a great idea to start throttling everyone’s DSL internet connections. This includes people that subscribe through the smaller ISPs, like the fantastic TekSavvy who I use. This means there are no (practical) ISPs left in Ontario that don’t throttle traffic. The CRTC needs to step in a put a stop to this non-sense. In the meantime, I thought I would let Bell know what I think of them by canceling all of the services I have with them. So, effective yesterday I no longer use any Bell services, and the best part is, all the alternatives I have found are actually cheaper. So I’m saving money and not giving any of it to Bell. Hey Bell, GTFO and stop messing with everyone’s internet traffic.
